Neelima was born in 2006 and her brother Suria in 2008.
Their grandparents brought them to the Home five years ago. Their father had abandoned the family and their mother moved back to live with her parents. She is a day labourer, doing any work that is given to her for a very poor wage.
Neelima is a bright able child who is doing very well in class. She is keen and helpful and a delight to teach. She loves to sing and draw with her friends. Suria is also above average in the classroom. He loves his friends and is always dancing!
They both look out for one another and are very close.
