Support from Businesses
As SLA grows businesses are coming onboard to help us in a variety of innovative ways. SLA are very appreciative of the support this generates both in raising funds and the charity's profile.
Cameron Edge
Cameron Edge is a company which aims to give firms ‘an edge’ over their competitors through superior IT. Cameron Edge was set up by John Cameron and is based in Melbourne, Australia. 100% of the income from product sales and consultancy fees for John Cameron‘s services is donated by him to charities including SLA.
Coriando®
Coriando® is an exciting new range of handmade gourmet curry pastes, curry powders and ready-made meals using high-quality ingredients. Company founder Ian McAllister (pictured with SLA Development Manager, Colin McRae) is kindly donating a percentage of profits from sales of the curry paste through shops to SLA. Coriando® also provides gourmet catering services for parties, corporate events, functions, weddings, Bollywood nights and private dinner parties.
Dominion Cinema
Over the last 4 years the Dominion Cinema (Dominion Director, Lesley Cameron pictured right) has supported SLA by helping us to run several very successful fundraising Ladies Cinema Nights which have built a large following and introduced many new faces to the work we do.
Helping Edinburgh
Helping Edinburgh is an initiative that has been set up by local businessman, Dr John Cosgrove Ph.D., to promote and foster relations between charities, people and businesses. Helping Hands approached SLA in 2011 and are hoping to promote fundraising for SLA to local businesses.
