Here are some of the fundraisers SLA ran in 2006

Festive Disco - December 2006

SLA organised a disco at the Minto Hotel, Edinburgh in December 2006. The evening raised over £300 for our project and provided an opportunity to catch up with friends over the festive period and have a boogie. Thank you to all involved in organising this event.

St Andrew’s Day Celebration - November 2006

‘The Tapsalteerie Dinner’ was held at the Corn Exchange on the 30th of November 2006 and combined celebrating our patron saint, St Andrew, with raising money for the children of SLA. The evening was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all. A special thanks to Karen Mathieson of Capercaillie and some of her band who played at the event and to Edi Stark and Willie Hunter for hosting the evening. Also a huge thank you to all those involved in the organising the evening.

Thanks also to Craigielaw Golf Club for their hospitality and generousity in providing such a wonderful venue for us.
