Go on Girlguiding .... Bake your heart out this February!

This February we are asking Girlguiding Units all across the country to pick up their rolling pins and Bake their hearts out by holding a Bake a Little Love event.

A Bake a Little Love Event offers a simple, fun way for girls to get involved in SLA’s work and help less fortunate children by baking heart shaped goodies.

Participating in our event would help girls increase their worldwide awareness of other countries. The event contributes towards a variety of Girlguiding badges: for Brownies the Hostess and the Cook badges; for Guides the Party Planner and the Confectioner badges.

After holding a Bake a little love event if you wish to find out more about SLA’s work we would be delighted to send further information to you and send a SLA speaker, where possible, to your Unit to give an illustrated talk.

To get started contact the SLA Office to REGISTER YOUR UNIT and also to request a Girlguiding Bake a Little Love starter pack which includes flyers, a cookie cutter, invites, recipes and a donation form to help you and your girls get organised for your Bake a Little Love Event.

Alternatively if you are able to download the resources from the Downloads section on this page and print them off yourself this will save SLA the printing costs. If you do get your resources this way do still remember to contact us so we can send you your free cookie cutter and register your Unit into the Bake a Little Love prize draw.
