Meadows Marathon 2012

The Meadows Marathon is a marathon, half marathon and fun run all rolled into one neat little package taking place in the Meadows Park on the first Sunday of March each year, this year on Sunday the 4th of March.

HOW TO ENTER

• Go to the Meadows Marathon Website

• Fill in the form and pay the registration fee.

• 5km/Fun Run - £15 registration fee

• Half Marathon - £15 registration fee

• Marathon - £25 registration fee

• When filling in the form – in the ‘Other info’ section under Charity name put ‘Scottish Love in Action’ and under Charity Number put ‘SC030516’.

• As part of the process you will also be asked to set up a Virgin money online sponsorship page. With this page Virgin Money Giving page you can simply email your friends and family with a link to your page, where they can donate money online.

To secure your place you need to pay the registration fee for the race.

By agreeing to run for SLA we ask you to make the following pledge of raising a minimum of £72. This can provide a year of education for one child in our Tuni Home. This can be done either by obtaining sponsorships or if you tired of asking people for sponsorship events why not sign up to a Direct Debit Order of £6 a month for a year.

Once you've entered SLA will send you a Welcome letter with details about the charity and all other information required. SLA will supply you with a running vest which will be issued to you on the day.
