Irvine Welsh presents Trainspotting - September 2010

Join bestselling author Irvine Welsh on Wednesday the 1st September for a very special screening of the film adaptation of his first novel, Trainspotting. Irvine will host an exclusive Q&A session and talk about why he supports Scottish Love in Action. For £20pp enjoy Gold Class seats, canapes and fizz. Charity Recital at Bo'ness Old Kirk - October 2010

Join us for a recital on Saturday 9th October at 7.30 pm featuring Maria Wilson (Soprano), Laura McKinlay (Violin), and Matthew Brown (Piano) in aid of Strathcarron Hospice and SLA. A varied evening of music-making with something for everyone, featuring three graduates of the RSAMD. The programme will include a wide range of musical styles from Handel to the Beatles, from Scottish folk music to west end shows.
Tickets priced £8 (£7 concessions) will be available on the door or by emailing Matthew Brown.
Refreshments will be served at the interval. All proceeds will be divided between Strathcarron Hospice and SLA.

Sex and the City 2 Girl's Cinema Night - October 2010

Put on your gladrags and join SLA at 7.30pm on Monday the 11th October 2010 for the best party in town!

Bridge and Afternon Tea - October 2010

A Bridge and Afternoon Tea Fundraiser is to be held at Greenbank Parish Church, Edinburgh on Wednesday the 27th of October 2010. Tables cost £40 each and can be booked through the SLA office.
