Fundraising - Future Events
We are warming up to celebrate our 10th Anniverary
in Autumn 2009 with the following events, your support would be
hugely appreciated to help us raise funds to extend our care of
destitute children in India even further.
Sportsman Ceilidh - September 2008
Ceilidh has come to mean a social gathering (its
true meaning is ‘rocking’) and this is just what this
is, with a bit of rolling and reeling! An evening of good music,
playing and dancing at the Sheraton Hotel on Thursday 6th September.
Tickets cost £65 per person.
Eisd plus friends - October 2008
Join us for an evening of music on the Sunday 12th
of October at 6.30pm at Morningside Parish Church. Eisd (Gaelic
for 'Listen') are a professional group of musicians made up of
Shuna
Sendall, soprano, Matthew Brown, piano and Alex South, clarinet.
In addition to the group, Morningside Parish Church organist, Morley
Whitehead, plus a group of young musicians from Loretto School
including pipes, will be participating in the evening’s entertainment.
Refreshments will be available. Tickets not required
but there will be a retiring collection on the night.
Lad's Curry and Beer Night - November 2008
6 November at the Quay Complex, Musselburgh with
top stand-up comedian. Tickets £40 to include a selection
of mouth watering curries and draft lager to cool you down.
Ladies' Night - Harvey Nichols - November
2008
After last years sell-out we are holding another
Ladies Night on Monday the 10th November 2008. The evening will
start at 7pm and include fizz, food (3 course meal) and fun with
exclusive shopping on the Ground and Food Floors, tickets are £40
per person.
Ladies' Cinema Night - January 2009
Join us for a fun night of drinks, canapes and a
great film for the girls at the Dominion Cinema, Edinburgh on Monday
the 26th of January 2009 at 8pm. Tickets are £30 a pair for
standard seats or £45 a pair for superior couches or electronic
seats.
Curry Karaoke, Party Night - February 2009
Come to the Quay Complex, Musselburgh on the 6th
February 2009 to experience 2 of Scotland's greatest passions, curry
and karaoke, fatastic fun for all. Tickets £40 to include
a selection of mouth watering curries and wine.
Ladies' Bollywood Fashion Night - March 2009
Experience the glamour of Bollywood at close quarters
and learn the art of Indian dress and dance at the Quay Complex,
Musselburgh on 27th March 2009. Why not purchase your sari for the
Hottest Night?(see below)

Hottest Night in the East - May 2009
After 10 years of sell-out success in Glasgow, Scotland's
Curry King, Charan Gill, is bringing to Edinburgh an extravaganza
of a night on Thursday 7th of May 2009 at the Assembly Rooms, George
Street. A sellout for the last 10 years in Glasgow, be sure to get
in quick to ensure a table. Tickets £995 + VAT per table of
10 persons for fizz on arrival, 3-course dinner and amazing entertainment
and incredible raffle and auction prizes!
