After watching SLA’s new short docu-film ‘Lighting Candles for India’ four 12 and 13 year old girls from Dunbar were inspired to raise money for SLA.
Rosie Brougham, Emma Bunyan, Alicia Lancaster and Amabel Henderson all got busy making crafts and cakes to sell at a garden stall and managed to raise over £100 for SLA.
This amount of money will feed one of the children at the Home for eight months!
A huge thank you girls for helping SLA and for spreading the word about our work to your neighbours, friends and family.
If you have not yet watched the film watch it now.
