Scottish Chamber Orchestra Concert
After an unforgettable and emotional concert at our Home-cum-School in Hyderabad in February 2009, musicians from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra very generously offered to give a concert to support the children.
The concert, 'Musicians hold hands with the Children of SLA, was held at Greyfriars Church, Edinburgh on the 2nd November 2009 and was a huge success and well attended. We were extremely excited that several other musicians also took part, making for a very beautiful and diverse evening of music. The other performers included the group Kilairum from St. Mary’s Music School and musicians from the talented Transgressive North group who spent last summer working with the children in our Tuni Home. During this musical tribute to the children of SLA, we officially launched our exciting CLASSMATES sponsorship scheme.
