Volunteer in Scotland
We try to keep running costs of SLA in Scotland to an absolute minimum so that we can use the vast majority of funds raised to support our projects in India. Therefore help from volunteers to fundraise and assist with administration tasks is hugely appreciated and valued.
We are lucky to have two excellent volunteer staff. Barbara Brown is our administrator and comes into the office two days a week. Jill Wilson, our finance officer, contributes one day a week to our accounting.
In addition, many other volunteers work both in the office and outside, organising fundraising events and giving talks and presentations.
