10th Class Graduates
Below are some of our 10th class graduates. Some of these children have done all their schooling at Light of Love Home and so it is wonderful to see the efforts of Dr. Premdas, Sony, all the teachers and staff paying off.
One such child is Sireesha, aged 16, who has been cared for by Dr. Premdas and his family since she was four years old, well before the Light of Love Home was built. Her father died of AIDS many years ago, and her mother passed away four years ago.
Now she has passed her 10th class exams and is studying her first year of science studies at the local college. “I want to be a nurse, to study for a BSE in nursing,” she told SLA volunteer Holly Edwards.
