SLA Founder and Chairperson
Gillie Davidson is the reason that Scottish Love in Action came to be and has grown to what it is today. Her endless energy, enthusiasm, passion and drive for the children in India is contagious and inspires others to help.
For SLA’s first 5 years all SLA’s day-to-day work was carried out by Gillie on a voluntary basis working from her home before employing the invaluable and very necessary help of Colin (full-time) and Vicki (part-time).
In 2008 Gillie Davidson. was awarded an MBE "for services to children in the UK and India" in the Queen's 80th birthday honours list.
