Covid-19 update from the SLA team
We thought it would be good to provide an update on what is happening with SLA at this difficult time for people across the world.
As far as possible, we will endeavour to keep ‘business as usual’. Staff will be working from home whilst the advice is to do so. Some of our volunteers may also work from home and help us with some tasks remotely.
We will of course be in regular contact with our Indian partners and will be sharing updates directly from them shortly.
We will stay in touch with our supporters and in the coming weeks will be sharing some activities and fundraising ideas via email and social media that people can participate in from home.
We know there are very testing times ahead for all, including small charities like us. Our message has always been about putting ‘love into action’ and we will do our best to keep doing that in the coming months. The work of SLA and our partners has shown the amazing things people can achieve when they work together. We will continue to do all we can in this unprecedented time, to get through this together.
