Saying goodbye to Vicki
After 16 years, we said goodbye to Vicki, Fundraising and Communications Manager
We recently said goodbye to Vicki Watson, who moved on after 16 years working for Scottish Love in Action.
With enormous passion for our cause, Vicki was first involved with the charity as a volunteer. As the charity grew, Vicki became our first member of staff – Information and Communications Officer. At the time she worked from the landing of our founder’s home!
Over time her role developed to become Fundraising and Communications Manager. Our charity has also grown and developed – we have offices near The Pleasance in Edinburgh, and today we are a team of 3 staff.
Vicki said, “After 16 very happy and fulfilling years working for SLA, now is the time for me to move on. I will always treasure the memories I have of my times spent with the children we support and, with the help of our Indian Partners, watching them grow into the individuals they have become. It has been a privilege to work as part of the SLA ‘family’ and to have been an integral part of the team taking the charity to where it is today.”
Goodbye Vicki and thanks for your help.
