Celebrate a Life
Remember a loved by donating each year on their birthday
Bring our tree to life and help children to thrive
The coronavirus pandemic has meant loss of many kinds for people all around the world. In our 21st birthday year, we’d like to help you celebrate the life of a loved one you have lost, on their birthday.
Making a donation to remember your loved one each year turns one of the leaves on the tree from yellow to green, helping it to grow and thrive, so children in India can grow and thrive.
You can set up an annual donation here, to be made on the birthday of your loved one each year.
- £50 pays for a month’s education for 8 girls at the ASRITHA Rainbow Home, giving them the learning and opportunities they need to break free from the poverty trap.
- £100 puts 3 adolescents through the whole VOICE4Girls programme, providing them with critical knowledge on their bodies, their rights, their health and their safety, so they can negotiate for a better future for themselves, their communities and their families.
- £500 would enable 27 young people on our Livelihoods programme to access a vocational course or training so they can find a job, empowering them to take control of their futures and reach their full potential.
If you would like to make a one-off donation instead, please see here.
Needed now, more than ever
For over twenty-one years, Scottish Love in Action have worked with grassroots NGO partners in India to provide care, protection and education for some of the world’s most vulnerable children. We’ve supported over ten thousand children and young people to transform not only their own lives, but the lives of generations to come.
The Covid crisis means our work is needed now, more than ever before.
Making a regular donation to help our tree to grow means you are part of helping children in India to thrive for years to come.
If you would like us to add your loved one’s name to the list on the Celebrate a Life page, please let us know when you set up your donation. Thank you for helping our tree to grow.
