Tanusha
Tanusha’s determination and hard work have helped her realise her dreams.
Tanusha was brought to a Rainbow Home in Kolkata in 2016 when her mother ran away from domestic violence and wanted to protect Tanusha who was often threatened by her biological father.
Inspired by the daughter of the lady with whom her mother worked as a maid, the Rainbow Futures and Home teams helped Tanusha prepare for her lifelong dream of flying.
Tanusha was very self-motivated and focused. She took Communicative English classes and was mentored through interview techniques and practice, the application process and received help compiling her resume.
After applying to several airlines she was accepted for a walk-in interview with Indigo, an Indian domestic airline, and was selected for their Junior Cabin Crew training programme.
Today Tanusha enjoys working as a flight attendant with Indigo.
